National Liberty Museum The National Liberty Museum is located at 321 Chestnut Street, across the street from Carpenter's Hall. The museum "...was created to celebrate our nation's heritage of freedom and the wonderful diverse society it has produced..." Opened in 2000, the 30,000 square foot museum houses eight galleries. Gallery themes include "Let Freedom Ring", "Coming to America", "From Conflict to Harmony" and more.

Heros of 9/11
The museum also houses a three story tribute to the heros of 9/11.

The museum also contains more than 100 contemporary works of art by world renowned artists. Many of the extraordinary pieces are sculpted in glass.
